Thermoformed Panels for Business Machines and Medical Electronics
Kintz sells thermoformed panels to virtually any manufacturer that uses plastics panels –usually as enclosures for equipment – but most of their business is from business equipment and medical electronics OEMs. Business equipment OEMs – manufacturers of copiers, printers and computer equipment – often need pressure formed panels as well as twin-sheet panels which contain cabling, fixtures or insulation. Medical electronics OEMs – manufacturers of MRI, X-ray and other medical treatment and diagnostic equipment – have similar applications. But Kintz does much more than just re-form plastic panels into new shapes. The company works with their customers to find ways to reduce raw material, labor, fabrication, assembly and shipping costs. Kintz also provides assembly services, both thermoforming a part and It is not surprising that Kintz Plastics has won dozens of industry awards for their designs. And Kintz is ISO 1999:2000 Certified. Kintz has the largest thermoforming capacity in the Eastern US. Their “Jumbo” thermoforming unit forms panels up to 9 by 13 feet! Kintz Plastics was founded by Wynn Kintz in 1976. In the only major diversification in the company’s history, Kintz Plastics maintains beehives on their property in Upstate New York, so lucky visitors receive a jar of honey. Sweet. |
